Trending @Accenture; How do managers have so much power?

I have not got any hike and every other analyst has base pay more than me, when I raise this concern to HR (request to re-evaluation), I am now getting threatened to get into PIP and no one is now responding to my chat.

Even after having so much appreciation from client and as well as Accenture leads, this is the situation. I asked for roll off if they can't give hike, they denied that also, so now I will be terminated without having a opportunity to work in other project and give value to them.

How Accenture is giving so much power to a single manager who can destroy someone's career even after giving so much value to the client.

This is really sad, you should raise a greivance from ast portal regarding your base pay that is the best and official way and it stays in record as well Hr can do nothing about it. Also please tell which project is this? This will help others stay away form this project. And if you are sure they will terminate you then blackmail them that you will expose them in social media

I really want to expose them, but am afraid as I need this job for my family. And its not only me, from my project this year 8 people got into pip and then termination. Whoever ask for roll off, they gave pip and rolled off.

Don't try to antogonize managers - currently some of them are on a power trip ready to destroy careers .Stay out of sight and out of the minds of this pathetic type of managers . Start looking outside . BTW which project is this

To be honest I have never seen HR taking side of person who is put on PIP. Since HR themselves ask for IP candidates based on IP budget. Sometimes PIP means you were just last ranked in the peer group, while you could not be true IP candidate. For roll off , just state your position that if your work in the project is not adding value , you would like to explore other avenues. Drop an email related to this. Once you complete 18 months in project , there is no policy with which roll off could be denied. Roll off may be 3 months far but would be provided for sure.
Also , very important to interact with multiple people from client side and other leads in your project so that they can give you feedback and not all feedback is in hand of your manager. Good luck

They have not put me in PIP, but since I involved HR over the mail on base pay increment, manager said there will be consequences. So I am afraid they will put me PIP now.

I have completed 18 months, and asked many times that I want to explore other projects as this project now doesn't have much work. But they are always denying.

Firstly, do not say anything negative from your side.
Document and loop skip level manager is everything.
Threatening is a serious misconduct. Be aware of all such policies. Yes there is a case where nothing works, but if you know how to drive the communication, they will do things but into control. See for them reducing the headcount is an answer they need to give to DL.
Hence the things happened.

You can raise everything, just make sure, you are not showing a negative attitude.
And do not go into such calls alone. Keep HR or skip manages.

If they do not join reschedule again keep their skip manager in cc.

My skip level manager is only doing this to me, not sure whom to reach, in my concern mail, I have written very politely and in request tone. But since I included HR, skip level manager got triggered.
