Yes lateral hires ask for more salary but they are needed to get the work done. With more experience comes more expertise.

Entry level jobs.. they will fire most upper level employees in the name of pip quotas. And hire freshers and ask them to do machine learning. The rest of the amount will go to bring in new small ai companies within Accenture. Check the inorganic growth percentage for Accenture. Google it.
