I can share the other side of the coin as well I am taking 2 interviews daily. Of candidates if mass layoff is true why accenture is taking so many candidates from outside.

Replacement of candidate 😔 I guess who can work in lower ctc or more better skills

Majority of Interviews are for keeping HR busy, I have cleared 10 people till now this year, but none of these joined Accenture.

Go to the bench and you will realise, Layoff is normal in Accenture.

Are you in bench? And how is the bench condition in Accenture? Do we get new development projects? Any idea?

PeppyPretzel

I am not in bench, but Accenture doesn't allow more than 3 months on the bench, after 2 months HR will get involved and it will be like either take any role or resign.

NOT at all, Accenture never lays off excluding COVID-19 era.

Accenture has PIP and background checks to achieve headcount reduction.

Laying off comes only after above options are exhausted

So when Accenture want to let go of someone they try Pip or what you told background check?

Majority of these actions are legally safe, if someone failed in BGV then Accenture has all right to do so, same thing is with PIP

I guess it has already started...not doing mass but targeting project wise. Doing consolidation on the headcount and moving few ppl to the bench and from there it starts to find projects or resign
