Recently got project and officially start from aug10th need to attend 3 days project requirement from base loc ( mumbai)
But i want to stay in hyd as primary care taker of mother
Have medical exception for reporting to hyderbad
Manager says report to base location as Hyderabad has no leadership (complete BS)
For relocation he’s asking to talk with hr
Shall i use exception to report or resign
Always keep the mgr conversation in teams chat n mail... Will be handy
Talk with HR. They might ask medical proofs and all. Provide em. Managers are dumbfucks... If they demand you to go there.. ask for a roll off.. not resignation.
Say I can't travel to base location due to these circumstances.
Don't go.
Like I said, at peak.. ask them to roll you off. Also, upskill and strive for new offers as well so that you can leave whenever you want.

Speak to your DU Lead and People advisor. One of our teammates had issue he was given an exception for 3 months. But now he has been asked to report to base loc as per company policy
No use with the HR. Mumbai to Hyderabad is always difficult if your Manager is not supportive.
Better to have more conversations with manager and if issue persists ask for a roll off from projecg
