Trending @Accenture; Got a very good surprise from Accenture
When you get a hike of 7% for CL11? What can be more surprising? It's not like they do not have a budget. Ironically, they are still hiring and offering good CTC to them. What about all the efforts and quality deliered? Doesn't that count at all. What kind of sick joke is going on here? Still, they are keeping bait saying in June we will get promoted. LOL 😂 Later in June, they will come back saying you need to wait till December since you got hike in December.
What are your feelings, guys? How is your hike percentage this time?

CL11 yoe 3.10 here, started from this org . I ll be switching in few months. All these IT industries are following the same trend it seems.

Yes, in your case, you’ll likely receive that response on June 25, advising you to wait until December, as a raise isn’t typically given within six months unless your performance is exceptionally high and the company heavily relies on your outputs, deliverables and your skills.

Right. But that's what managers are keeping bait that in june you will be promoted or so. They can clearly say this that it's not certain that you will get a hike or promotion.

Lol..I have been doing this for 3 years now and guess what I got zero promos, hikes. I turned down offers as well thinking that Accenture has lot of opportunities and considering the market conditions. I have got superb feedback and appreciations but no use.

They are spending a lot on new recruits and in many cases these new people have same or better pay than older ones who should pe paid more but it seems company don't relly wants people to stay for more than a few years

Exactly. If you see in promotion you will atmost get hike of 20-30% but people are getting recruited with hike of 60-70%. There is no space for loyal and dedicated company employees.

And the cycle repeats 😃

When asked , manager says “the leadership thinks that they would prefer a new resource from the outside , as he would bring a new perspective and new energy to the organization , when compared to the ones pre existing in organization”

Ultimately, it's a company decision based on various factors, with performance being just one small aspect. Budget, Skill proficiency, skill demand, certifications, market position of your CTC, time at your current level, and many other considerations are all taken into account during level-based discussions. Managers are generally keen to retain their strong performers based on People Leads/current supervisors Feedback of course, they cannot guarantee whether in next 6 months what would be your outcome.

I understand your point but every consideration gives the points for my better hike not just 7%.
My lead literally said that you are performing very well. I did complete certification and have relevant skills.
If you are talking about budget then Accenture is still hiring people with better pay, and I have 4 yoe which qualified for pay more than 6.1 lpa. This is completely injustice in my part.
Got 0% after 7 years with this company.

C11 yoe 3 here. Got base hike 9% and Vp 12 % but no promotion. Not sure how next year June cycle will be. It always same comments which I get from my leadership "the market is not good and you have got a good appraisal".
