Trending @Accenture; Gender bias in my team
A female colleague of same level gets a promotion but I have delivered 2x and pushed late evenings and weekends but only VP, she actually doesn’t work much as she is recently married and takes it slow, I dont have anything against her but I deserve fruit for my hardwork too, we are at same lvl and my MAL is higher, hate this shit.
Pls and AM’s what kind of gender bias games are you playing? Why is is that you play favourites and why make only some people work hard, have some respect and shame.
Accenture-> you expect people to move from their homes to a metro city with only 10% variable pay, do you not have some shame? You think we survive only on water? You have your ties with the government to run their businesses then you pay them for their losses, dont make the poor pay from their pockets
I wish you and your company burns to the ground @julie sweet, and all these biased people end up with a bad karma hitting them.
What a shit show, Tour truly A frustrated employee

I have had the reverse happen in my case.... I am female on loan to another project .. 2 years I spent day n night on getting 100% data transferred from source to target... A guy joins 1 month later he is awarded star of the month for 100%load .... I didn't receive a single appreciation note also ...

Politics maam, they play dirty politics, we lack structure and policies, this needs urgent attention, rather our beloved company is more interested in RTO policies and surveys to show how great they are

Gender and diversity initiatives have stopped since start of 2025 due to Trump. Welcome to the real world 😂 you missed the golden period by a few years.
Let's unite and fight this oppressive regime as truly gender equal 🫶

0 percent hike and 9 percent vp and loads of excuses , tbh I am not even that disappointed as I have 0 expectations from Accenture 2024 onwards , it's just that I am more annoyed about the excuses but yeah all this is just to organically encourage voluntary attrition

True that

Well, your frustration is understandable. But the fact is they will always prefer women candidate whether it's promotion or Even hiring. That is level policy.
And don't expect better pay for better work, max they can appreciate you but it won't impact on how much you are paid, whether you work or don't work.
Upskill yourself and switch

Hard working employees irrespective of gender are getting peanuts!!

Its so frustrating, i am kicking myself for pushing too hard

I had the most turnover in the team, resolved most no of requests in team, got client recognition for best performance in team. Forget about promotion they have given any hike only VP. I am on same level since 2023 with 5% hike only in December, my previous manager told me that l will get hike this month but got nothing. So disappointed with the outcome

Sorry not the case with all women employees. I have been working almost 11 to 12 hrs a day for the last 5 months. Neither I got promoted and did not get a hike ..it's been 4 yrs in Accenture on the same level and payscale. I received ACE , APEX,SAP HERO AND many client appreciation mail still no growth and during the promotion cycle the manager says to create visibility to leadership What else can I do? I lost hope and am looking for a job outside

Ma’am you are already at AM level, the competition is obviously higher as promotion for an AM will take a huge hit at the budget, believe it or not there is a maximum gender bias, I appreciate and feel for you as you are giving it your all, but i just wish the gender bias to end
