Trending @Accenture; Fresher joining Accenture

So recently I got an offer of ASE at Accenture, and I'm probably going to join it. Base location is Bengaluru, so I want to ask some of my senior members here, what are DOs & DON'Ts in this company.... Also what will be the good time to switch from this company & what should be my target CTC after leaving this company.. As I already see that the reviews on Grapevine is not very awesome 🥲. It's making me nervous.

Have a balanced 1st year. Enjoy the freedom, the new environment, salary and folks around you.

At the same time promise yourself you will leave the firm exactly at 12th month.

Accenture is the not firm to aim in this 2024 generation if you have your basic things sorted in life.

Try to aim for product based companies or go abroad.

Good thumb rule is 2nd year you need to get a fixed package of 10 L +

2nd year 20L +

3rd year 30L+ and so on

Do what you have to do to achieve it.

Its not about the money, its about the hustle and time value of your age.

If you don't need money, earned these and donate to a ngo. But earn max.

It will keep you updated in this gen.

All the best.

Do: Learn fast, network, and get certifications. Don't: Expect quick promotions or big hikes. Switch after 3 years for better CTC. Ignore Grapevine; focus on your growth.

Why not switch after 1 or 2 years? Not countering but in the same situation so seeking knowledge.

If you have gained the knowledge, have the network, and understand the market a bit...also looking for different exposure you can seek different opportunities for yourself. May not be required to wait for 3 years coz with switch you will be at a better package depending on skillset. If you want to switch early, important to see if growth opportunity is good. Or else stick with the same company.

Learn, learn and learn, there is a learning program called Techleap if you complete it within 6 months you are eligible for promotion to next level with min 20% hike or else after 2 year you will be promoted.

Please focus on enhancing your skills. I come across freshers every day and honestly, there is scope for improvement in terms of being passionate about the work you do. The first focus should be to excel in the work you are doing , rest will happen on its own. First , try to create an unparalleled dependency within your team
