So now is it compulsory to give that or whether leave it ?

It's not necessary,however on achieving p4 you get 2500 rp also recognition from leadership

Any more ideas on the P4/P5 assessment? How is it conducted, what type of questions do get etc.

It's then get conducted offline in front of invigilators, and the level must be difficult as compared.
