Trending @Accenture; English is not clear

Is it just me or does everyone feel like no one is speaking proper english? I speak english fluently and I could understand US and AUS clients easily, but I'm struggling with people who speak english in Accenture. Everyone is speaking with different accents. LMAO

You should try IELTS and go abroad and work with US folks.

Of course everyone has different accent. What is the problem till they’re able to communicate???

That’s so true

Tbh even I used to think having fluency in English is important but when I hear my colleagues speak I realise that English is just a medium of communication!
As long as you’re being able to put forward their point it and convey the meaning, grammar doesn’t matter.

But yeah, reading documentation prepared by folks with poor English is a total headache!

You in the county which has 121 languages and 270 mother tongues. With the population of 143.8Cr not everyone got the Ivy League like you did. If you’re able to understand what there are saying then i thing you should ignore accents.

See that's the thing, i couldn't understand the words properly. I'm just saying that we are not working in a 3rd rate company. Accenture is an MNC, where english is the primary source to get by. If it's not possible to understand. Who's at fault here.

Each region has different accent. No one is trained on speaking fluently. Even in school no one does that. Its unfortunate. But being in the industry u might learn after years
