Trending @Accenture; Dropped the paper
I've been in CL10 for last 2.6 years. Without any hike or promotion. I got offer with 40% hike. So I dropped the paper. I've high visibility in my current project. my manager is convincing me stay. Also he said he will provide 20% hike in mid year and 20% hike in next cycle. But there is no talk on promotion. I need some suggestions.
You are the best decision maker for yourselves. Based on my experience, you need to ask yourself few questions before taking switching decisions .
What is the reason I am quitting ? Lack of recognition? Lack of monetary benefits?
Lack of visibility? No learning opportunities ? No career growth opportunities? Do I have the best team to work with ? Is my voice being heard and responded ? Etc.,
If you have answers for these questions , you may then come to a conclusion on what decision you need to take .
Bro, first thing even your manager fulfils this promise (which is just verbal) then also you are getting less... You will be reaching the 40% milestone after an year when you have the opportunity in hand right away.
Secondly, once they give you 20-20% (which is not mandatory) then don't expect anything further.
This is also because you have some dependency in your project and that's why you have been asked to stay. ACN is not asking people to stay otherwise.
Better to move on and take 40% hike right away...
Which company you got hike for 40%? If your manager says it then you may stay. But ask to document this communication
