During my recent one-on-one with my manager: ✔️ Positive feedback – I’m performing well. ⭐ Client rating: 10/10! 📈 Project status: Smooth and successful.
This year, I’ve also: 🎓 Completed 2 certifications 🤝 Conducted interviews and mentored team mates 💡 Participated in a hackathon 🏆 Received ACE and Pinnacle awards in June
Yet despite these efforts: 🚫 Sub-level remains at 1 since I joined (MAL: 36). 💸 No salary hike and drastically reduced variable pay compared to the past three years.
📢 I’m working with a tech giant as a Salesforce LWC/Integration Developer, actively contributing to projects. But recognition feels absent, and appreciation is lacking.
What’s confusing? Accenture says it’s struggling with financially, but the last 4 years’ turnover shows profitability 📊. It feels like an indirect push—low payouts, no hikes—leaving employees no choice but to move on.
💔 This isn’t fair. Hardworking employees deserve acknowledgment and support for their efforts.
And to Julie Sweet: Your name may be sweet 🍬, but actions speak louder than words. Please respect and value the contributions of Indian employees 🙏
And this is mostly with Indian employees. Even in November 2023, same level hikes were not given to only Indian and sri lanka employees. For other countries. Its just humiliation of Indian Employees. Its high time now for India to have minimum wages law and hourly pay culture. But our leaders are only doing politics and scams and busy in stealing money from middle class people in form for tax.
You are correct; these issues are not limited to Accenture. Overall, many MNCs have adopted a similar approach by halting hikes and promotions for Indian employees over the last two years. The first reason is the lack of strong labor laws for the IT sector, and the second is that even if such laws were in place, our government might not support their citizens.
