Trending @Accenture; Does the salary depend on location ?
In Accenture, can the CTC be different for a person depending on the location? For example, will a person working from Bangalore branch earn less if he was working from say Noida branch or joined from Noida branch as his base location ?
Its actually the opposite in your example. Say, the normal pay of an ASE is 28,316 then a person who’s working in Gurugram would be earning the above said amt. but an ASE in Bangalore would be earning 200₹ less i.e., 28,116.
I don’t know the specifics behind this deduction of 200 ₹ but state taxation has to do something with it. ps: not completely sure of the reason.

Joining location doesn’t matter. Only your base location matters. I have friends who live in delhi but their base location is changed to Bengaluru.
So, yes it depends on your base location for any pay differentiation.
