Trending @Accenture; Does recognition help in the end year cycle.

Hey everyone I got recognition from my manager and also got recognition mail from the client manager about my work in the last 6 months. Will it help in any way like a hike or variable I got a hike of 7.5% in April. Do let me know if this is a good sign?
