Yes they will hold the last month salary, I recently discussed this with HR and she said yes they hold the last month salary and that will be credited as part of your full and final settlement. So don't worry you will get your salary.

What about gratuity that will also be given in the final settlement?

Unless u are involved in any data breach or posh act you are good to go.. Company cannot and will not block anything when u r on notice.
