Trending @Accenture; Do they get to know if I just swipe in and swipe out? They are making 5 days mandatory for my project
Manager doing BS here, even if he can get the report, Accenture RTO policy is weekly once.
Some one in my project started doing just swipe in swipe out for a month .... Manager got to know this somehow not sure how
He has made strict rule to follow 9 hrs for us now. He said they can pull report of entire 6 months in single minute and told us to follow timings.
Am not sure... If he is scaring us or it's all true

In the corporate world everything you do is traceable. Swipe in and swipe out, total office hours, net office hours everything is maintained and shared with the HR which is further shared to the people lead (if in case someone is really misusing and repeating). So these things are very much tracked and traced. But apart from it let me tell you, each and everything that you do in your office laptop can also be reported (again in nominal cases only). Your teams chats, your total time on laptop, which page have you been the most, did you really work in the laptop...and what not. Although all this is not that easy even for the HR and operations teams but few emails here and there and once few approvals are given, this all can be tracked and reported.
Yes they get know time when swipe in and swipe out by monitoring using your access entry time stamp. Technical team check your laptop has connected to Accenture office internet including duration your laptop was there in office network.So simple
They can through HR & there are reports which can track that.
Advise would be better not to do any non adherence on that.
