Trending @Accenture; Didn't go to the office for two weeks straight, lead has now sent an email asking for reason of absence, how to save this?
Got a project recently, wasn't going to the office cause I had no real work, was cutting costs and living in my hometown, what to do now?
This is sheer stupidity on your part. I am assuming this would be for a useless reason hence you are asking for excuses here.
If it were a genuine reason you would have informed your lead prior or raised an exception.
All of the people cribing about visiting office need to understand that you need to be working till you are 55 yrs old atleast. So better get used to policies and start showing up
You can't judge someone based on your own perspective about what you must have done in your initial days. What if he has some financial issues and has salary around 28k or 30k and living in tier 1 city will consume his all earning so maybe he is doing cost cutting by travelling from hometown to office. Everyone has some problems, so just understand that instead of making rude comments about his stupidity will it cost u anything to just simply give a suggestion how to handle the situation or suggestion about what to do so he won't repeat this again. Everyone gives a vibe and from u I am smelling toxicity God knows what ur colleagues and junior must be suffering from tolerating you. I would suggest work on ur nature if you can't give suggestions or help them improve just keep ur mouth shut and ignore people.
Now you are about to get a warning mail
This can be stopped if you have taken leave exception from the tool
In my case I have already got two warning mail, lead said if this happens for one more time I might get fired

Get a medical record of 2 weeks from some doctor and provide it. Also it's just 1 day a week. Some client projects have started 2 days a week with hours monitoring. Don't make things tough for you and us.
I usually skip once in a month But in august I didn’t go for two weeks straight.
Didn’t get any notice or warning e-mail! It depends on your project and management.
If you do continue this for 2 months approx 2 warning Mails will receive and congratulations on 3rd it will be your termination letter.
