Trending @Accenture; Did Staying in Accenture is worth it or not?
Hey folks,
Is it worth staying in Accenture or should I leave and explore other options? I already have 1.2 years of experience before joining Accenture. Do they provide hikes or not? Currently, I joined Accenture as a fresher in May 2024, but I haven't received any projects yet. I'm concerned that I haven't had the opportunity to contribute to the company or develop my skills. Can I expect a hike in May 2025?
I'm really confused. Have any seniors suggested what I should do?

If you are not contributing to projects then you are not eligible for variable pay and hikes as per the criteria

Okay got it but supposed if I got projects, then is it worth staying for the same situation regarding my growth, hikes and all?

No it's worth staying. I am working in current project since 2yrs and haven't received hike and promotion.
I was expecting in this cycle but unfortunately old manager with whom I worked 2 yrs left and new manager is assigned to me.
I spoke to new manager about hike and promotion he said he's new and doesn't know anything about my work so can't give me hike and promotion.
All my efforts have been wasted, and i have decided to leave ASAP 😤

Yes, you will get default hike regardless of your work status. All ASE get same hike and promotions.
Your variable pay will depend on your project, so if you are on bench you wont recieve anything.

Suppose if I'm on a bench, so that can i get default hike after one year of my employment like on may 2025?

Bro, I request you if you want to achieve something in your life, I would say please try to leave as soon as possible. It's been 12 months now since my joining but still I am on the bench. There is no future in Accenture, no coding projects here no growth only bench bench and bench... Accenture ruined my year, I am constantly applying for job opportunities, but not getting selected just because of this service based tag and 3 months notice period now.
Focus on cracking PBCs. All these service based companies have only bench periods not projects. I had a tcs offer in hand but now I am regretting a lot that I chose Accenture over it.
Accenture sucks!!!!

How I can access PBCs? Where I can get them?

Experiment on the skills you might like. There is a whole world in each streams, coding, non coding, BA etc etc.
Experiment on your own and get to know what you like. Start learning in depth and parallel create a CV and upload everywhere and aggressively try outside.
Not worth staying. There is a huge world out there. Don't get scared. Go fly.

Thanks man. That's really motivated. I'll try for sure.
