He told me took responsibility, I said give me promotion.
Since then he is doing "badtmeezi"
Not praising me anymore just thumps on completed tasks.
Did I did the wrong thing? Are slaves not supposed to ask?
If he is not giving then why show attitude? Or is he giving?🙁

You take new things on your plate as much as you can handle at your full capacity. Remember only take "NEW THINGS" That will give you learning and exposure. Specially if you are 20s and unmarried. Be it new responsibility, leading people, helping in different vertical, etc. Learn new things, perform at best (you do this for yourself) if they recognize and give promotion well and good but aim should be learning enough to switch job and jump 1-2 level higher than your average competition. Eventually you will start eating jobs of your seniors in corporate if you a diverse learner and skilled more than most of your age. But switching jobs is only way to do that.
Bottomline- if you are at your 20s, learn/grind/improve for yourself. Not for promotions, many will come once you ahead in race.
Note- Focus on work life balance too work 9 hours but with passion. Work will fun then rather than stress.
Ever seen Leadership guy with only 15-16 years of experience? Those are the people who worked like this.
Yes you did. But atleast he's acknowledging that you are doing good by gesture

Your manager is atleast giving any feedback through gesture, there are managers who harass the resources very badly in front of everyone.
Nothing can be done apart from doing something new and highlighting it from time to time
Better leave the company for your own future.You won't get promotion and you have come under the manager's bad book. Nothing can't be changed.Manager will be closing looking for your mistake and be ready for that. Try to find job as soon as possible or leave the project if manager allows you

The attitude of every manager at access is very high. They treat them as god. No offense to any manager here but this is fact
