I wanted to Switch from Analytics to DS. I’m In process of Learning more about Data Science. Apart from Python, SQL and Stats, how important is to know Mathematics (Linear Algebra, Calculus and Probability). I wanted to understand this as when searched in YouTube for Calculus and Algebra Playlists. The playlists or a single video having 8-12 hours and 120+ videos in case of playlist for calculus alone. For algebra it’s same but divided into pre-algebra and algebra. While working on a real-time data science projects how much of mathematics is needed as a prerequisite? The other part of question is has anyone started building Gen AI applications using LLM like OpenAI, Gemini, Llama? Which framework do you use? And wanted to understand how many of you use Langchain?
