Which will be the best career path for freshers Data engineer or Devops engineer?Please share your insights

DevOps is easier to move in to compared to Data Engineering, as for which one is better in terms of market, I'd say they're both in extreme demand and so either would be a good option. But just as someone pointed above, sometimes DevOps is just operations and no dev so that's a minus I guess.

Both are good.
Both have similar work processes like creating pipelines, automation and others. Data engineers mainly resolve around data and databases. While devops mainly revolve around deployment on servers, automation, monitoring and its configuration.

But be aware some projects have a devops role, but you never work on the development side, just an operation which will be a monotonous and boring work.
