Trending @Accenture; Cons of relocating my base office from Mumbai to Hyderabad
My family needs my support my father's health isn't good and also if i stay at hyd i can do wfh as my home is 5 hrs away so i can do it up-down once a week, i am just 11 months into Accenture so whom should I ask fro relocation and the main question is is a bad side to go to Hyderabad from Mumbai like will i not get projects, does mumbai have more projects or hikes or anything i need to worry about i am a little confused please help
Hyderabad is a much better and calmer place than Mumbai. Less pollution and less costs compared to Mumbai. Safer than Mumbai. So, you can save more, stay healthy and safe. Again Hyderabad is the only such city from south, you cannot survive in Chennai or Benguluru. In Chennai, the local people are rude and cheating. Food is not good. Heat and humid climate. Benguluru is a cool place but bad infrastructure, bad roads, high cost of living and the infamous kannada nuisance. But IT is well developed in Benguluru. Hyderabad balances all out cool climater, no language or regional bias, you can speak in which ever language you want, safer and IT also well developed.
Hyderabad is probably better as it's more tech aligned compared to Mumbai which is more Finance aligned. However, your movement depends if your project has folks in Hyderabad and your project manager and HR agree
