Trending @Accenture; Concerns Regarding Favoritism, Leadership Effectiveness, and Team Enablement

Over the recent period, there has been a growing perception of favoritism in role assignments, promotions, and visibility, which does not consistently align with performance or skill contribution. This has negatively impacted morale and trust across teams.

Several senior leadership roles appear to lack effective people-management capability. Limited focus on mentorship, career guidance, and team development has left many individual contributors feeling unsupported and overlooked despite strong delivery.

In addition, communication and project narratives are often selectively framed, restricting visibility into on-ground realities and alternate perspectives. This reduces transparency and reinforces internal politics rather than encouraging open, collaborative problem-solving.

There is insufficient emphasis on learning, growth, and long-term capability building for individual contributors, even though many actively seek opportunities to upskill and take on greater responsibility.

Together, these patterns are creating disengagement among experienced professionals and risking talent attrition. Strengthening merit-based decision-making, leadership accountability, transparent communication, and genuine investment in people development is critical for sustaining high-performing teams.

Cannot agree more, the leaders want their puppets to be on their side for everything so they just promote people who say yes to everything even if it's illogical.

Can't do anything on this

Agree with every word mentioned. The leads just want to save themselves and show something is going on to the AD and MD's. Don't really care about junior and mid level employees actually doing the work. No mentorship, no guidance for career growth or progression, not even giving clarity about expectation from us to move to next level.
