I finally had the package discussion with cognizant after 2 technical interviews. I asked 50k additionally over their budget like a round off number. My hr said it will go for approval then. I said ok and HR initiated that. Now I'm worried like will they approve? Now, I feel like I'm ok with their budget too but I need an offer. Please advise on this.

Chill. Ask as much as your deserve. Because in these companies they won’t give u hike till next 1-2years i guess.

It's okay. Nothing to worry. If it's approved, congratulations. If not approved your hr will update you that they can't pay you 50k extra. Are you ready to come or not. If you cts, Congratulations again
