I am working in cloud project for 1 year, now planning to change the domain to finance ( I have finance background), I have option to change in mycompetency, before changing the primary skill should I talk to my manager or directly change the skill and then talk to them, coz my manager or DU lead has to approve it.
Recently, I have seen that people asking for roll off was immediately put into PIP
Kindly provide all the necessary info.
