Trending @Accenture; Can we join another company while serving a notice period?

If I am working in a particular company and due to some issues I have to resign that and join another company while serving the notice period in the previous one. That will show an overlap in my pf. So what will be the consequences? Is there any way to resolve this problem? Because the new company is not going to change the joining date.

Will it be a huge issue in my career? (If I have relevant skills)
