Trending @Accenture; Can we change the base location other than bhubaneswar after completing 12 months in the base location
Whose approval is required team lead or Project HR?
Suppose I want to relocate to Noida so can I request any Noida HR to help me when my personal HR is just chilling with his works??
I am also struggling with these since last 19months though due to the project they have changed my location once in Feb,2023 and there also I have completed 17 months still I am unable to change...........
It's very critical for me to relocate due to paralytic condition of my dad and being diabetic patients it's very urgent to me but portal itself is closed 😢😢😢😢
How did the changed the base location previously could you please elaborate
My project location was Chennai so I had to relocate Chennai.. at that time when I relocate rule was 1yrs only..but now already completed 17months though I am unable to change
The last I remember, the location change is only open for Bhubaneswar location and no one in Accenture knows when the portal will open for the rest of the locations. It's better to talk to your manager and supervisor and ask them if you can report to the office location in or near ur hometown or if you can get wfh for a week. You can get yourself checked and present the medical documents as a reason for working from home.
You can change... Talk to your manager and HR. Raise request.
I discussed with HR and manager is saying that relocation is possible only after two years and I am a fresher and I submitted all the medical reports of my health condition
There are two ways for initiating relocation -
- Through HR - contact ur HR
- OIT - Contact your manager
There are 2 ways
- OIT ( ORGANISATION INITIATED TRANSFER )
- EIT ( EMPLOYEE INITIATED TRANSFER )
OIT- U need to connect with your people advisor, give one valid reason for changing the base.location, so that they will raise OIT request in the portal on your behalf.
EIT - Can be done only once in a year I guess and you can initiate it bt ast.accenture.com

Are you sure EIT is 1yr?? As already completed 19months in Accenture and 17months in Chennai though unable to relocate.. Chennai is my 2nd base location where also completed 1.5yrs ........ Relocation is very important for me due to critical health issues 🥺🥺
I think now the policy of self initiated location change is not active now. So now it can only be Office Initiated Transfer by your leads.
