Trending @Accenture; Can anyone help, feeling stuck. Don't understand what to do.

In July 2024 I joined Accenture as a fresher. Trained in MERN, willing to work as a developer.

In March 2025, I got hard locked to a project as a manual QA tester. I told the manager that I don't want this role, she told me that it's not ideal for me to sit idle, join the role now, they will release me after 6 months.

In September, the part of the project I was working on completed. In between this I asked my manager to release me after this completes. So, she asked me to share my resume, aspired role, so that she can share it with internal leads.

I shared my resume, mentioning that I am looking for a Backend or DevOps role. Currently in CL-12.

Few days ago, I got a call from a internal team lead of my client, for a devops role. I explained him what things I know(I have previous knowledge of backend & DevOps), he told me that I will be joining the team and he will notify me about the details.

Now, in the testing team, they are starting a new automation testing training module using Selenium, Java etc. I don't want to learn/continue working in testing.

I asked the DevOps lead again about my joining, he is saying he will let me know.

I don't understand what to do now.
