Trending @Accenture; Best use of sick leaves in kolkata?
What's the best way to utilise sick leaves in Kolkata as it says half pay policy? Also what exactly does it mean? I would also love to know how does carry forward work for sick leaves in Kolkata because it's also mentioned carry forward at half pay? Can someone please explain in detail? I recently moved from Noida to Kolkata and it's confusing here.
Best use- Don’t utilise them, rather use casual and earned leaves. Last FN I got all my sick leave carry forwarded still this year I have used none as if you use a sick leave your half day salary will be deducted. So best use is at first utilise your casual and earned if still you need to use more leaves then opt for sick leave
It's a WB Shops & Establishment act rule which they're milking out. Whereas they don't follow the holiday calendar for durga puja mentioned in same act.
I asked TCS guys, they get full salary. Idk how they manage.
Govt employees have a workaround of combining 2 sick leaves into 1 sick leave fully paid - but yeah who cares, they wanna acquire 69 companies, rebuild cafeteria for 10th time.
