Trending @Accenture; base location change
I joined as a fresher in May 2024, and my base location is Pune. I had requested a location change to Hyderabad, but my manager informed me that our project doesn’t have a formal team there — though I’ve observed that 3–4 people are working from Hyderabad. He mentioned that our project is officially present only in Pune and Bangalore I understand that after completing 24 months, I’ll be eligible for EIT (Employee Initiated Transfer) Once I complete 24 months, will I be able to apply for a location change to Hyderabad on my own through EIT, or would I still need my manager’s approval at that time?
First thing check your roll off date in jobs gateway, if it is ending before 2 years, you can move into projects in Hyderabad.
Other wise After 2 years, Your Workday Manager will approve the EIT request irrespective of HR decision.
No one knows, as Accenture has all these rules but they themselves don't follow it. Since many years the transfer portal itself wasn't working even for people completing 2 years in Accenture.
When you ask your manager they'll say talk to HR, HR doesn't know shit here. So do as others do, work from Hyderabad simple
