Hi 👋 bro, I recently changed the base location as an ASE. I joined on Oct 2024. I took permission from senior manager & people lead. Then just tell your project PMO that you want OIT( organization initiated transfer ) to your prefered base location keep your manager & senior manager in bcc or Cc . PMO will raise the request it's a one day process then in 10-14 days( 2 weeks) your base location will be changed . You will be told that you cant remiburse with the charge code and you have to make them assure that you want to using project charge code because it incurs charges to project then your relocation might not happen. So just assure everyone and request PMO to do the stuff as it's one day task for PMO to raise request. If your senior manager or people lead ask to talk with HR just be sure that there is no role of HR here and HR is bare minimum involved in this process evrything is done by PMO. I was stuck on HR loop for nearly one month as HR didn't replied and after one month told that they won't be doing reloc procedure by their method as it's very tedious and HR is sick of doing that free work 😕.
