I am going to be a part of dev team in a project. As I am an ASE, do they assign me coding related tasks? If yes, how much coding(strong or basic) do i need to know. If no, what kind of tasks can I expect in that project to be assigned??

It will be assigned in a progressive way. For first 3 months I was just logging to the portal and clicking the run button, and was just monitoring it till next run. First 6 Months I just understood how things work and most of manual work. If your lead/team is good you need not worry, you will be guided
