Trending @Accenture; Are you also seeing too many good bye emails?
Hi everyone, I have noticed a lot, I mean an alarming amount of emails in my inbox daily with good bye email. (FYI today is 1st Feb 25’) (Context - Employees leaving Accenture).
What are your thoughts on that? Here’s my unfiltered thought: Due to Julie didi’s email last year none of us got any hikes, and this FY as well no one got any hikes (people who I have asked around in Accenture ~17 people including associates to managers)
I believe some idiot who is a higher up in Accenture leadership suggested no hikes for immediate profitability and the junior leadership must have accepted as they anyway doesn’t have a say in once it’s decided on upper leadership level. And honestly who would risk proving a senior leadership wrong when their own job can become a target if they succeed.
So anyway, I’m also leaving Accenture soon. Got two good offers. FYI - I did like Accenture a lot, so I will be rejoining after 6 months and I just hope the HR asks me why did u leave Accenture. Simple answer - last two years 0% hike. In my last 6 months, I got 80% (fact) hike, and now with the new salary Accenture is giving me 60% hike (assuming - always be +ve) the total hike is 140%? Those who thought that it's okay yaar, but those who thought it's 288%, u guys are beep beep beep (ofcourse it's not a filter, u can fill the beep x3 as per ur own evaluation ).
Those of you still thinking (80+60), it’s 188% hike. (Those who thought 288, u better switch any data analyst/scientist post, because trust me having no knowledge and being able to accept it is always better than being overconfident with only half knowledge).
Anyway, coming back to the topic, if u r a fresher, u have got no choice, but if u r experienced - You have got two choices - keep getting bullied or bully back. It’s upto you.
