You just have to be in the office for a minimum of 1 hour to mark your attendance regardless of the shift. What you can do is, book a seat for 9 hours, go in the morning or whenever you want to, check in, keep your stuff at the seat and just go for a walk, breakfast etc etc to pass the time, as soon as 1hour is done you can pack your stuff and go back home.

That part i know, but today i got the information that someone will book your seat and you need to be in office and they are going to track your time also, and they can ask to go to office in c-shift as well
