Trending @Accenture; Anyone else in Gen AI feeling stuck or not learning much?
Hi folks, I’m currently working in a Gen AI team, but lately, I don’t feel much growth. Most of the design, coding, and logic work is handled by AI, and my role mainly involves prompt engineering.
I have over 5 years of experience and come from traditional, structured development projects where I felt I was learning and progressing. But here, even though I’m exploring a lot of new technologies and doing research, it doesn’t feel satisfying or like real learning.
Is anyone else in Gen AI experiencing the same? Any suggestions or advice on how to grow in this field?
You dont see growth or knowledge development in GenAI team bcoz perspective need to be changed while using LLMs.
See with a lense of business value, if u working for client, see what your team purpose is in terms to delivering client. What solution you are providing that doesnt exist. How genai addresses, why genai only addresses. If you think like traditional SE then it will not work, u need to have business acumen to fully equip AI for delivering value.
If you want to be in purely Tech/development/tech architect knowledge, then you should know in coming years AI will do MOST of coding. You'll just be prompt engineer validating codes or defining structure, which effectually AI will do later stages. So if pure technical u want to be, learm LLMs LRMs Agentic development, explore Azure AI fondry etc. This will have new scope.
