Trending @Accenture; am i underpaid?
Joined Accenture 2 months ago with 3.5 YOE, Java Spring boot developer, joined as a Senior Analyst with 8.5 Fixed and 2L variable. am i underpaid ?
and any advice for me in the next 5 - 10 years?
I want to stay in IT only and later become a farmer in my 60s.
Yeah, the CTC you mentioned is low for your profile. VP would be 1.78L but irrespective of that, your Fixed Pay should have been at least 10L or above. But all this depends on your previous company salary.
You can try for a better offer outside before your probation ends and then try to see if this org is okay to match it. But currently, that's a bit risky. If not, you can switch in a couple of years. Anyways, congrats and hoping that you'll have a smoother journey ahead :)

I am asuming you joined as fresher for 4.5lpa ctc which is ofcourse 3.3lpa fixed . So after 3.5 years your salary should be at least 6-7lpa fixed. And now you have switched so you may have asked for more than 8.5 lpa. Some of my friends even got 13lpa fixed after switching from 7lpa fixed job for technologies like dot net. So i would suggest to look for more if you have required skills. If not try to acquire and start applying again
yeah you are right on the analogy, i now feel i need to switch again in 1 year to compensate for my fixed pay gap.
