I guess being shameless is one of the key skills to be in Accenture in 2024.
Accenture's management isn't shameless; it's strategic. Favoritism and sycophancy? Maybe. But it's about results. Work-life balance? Overrated. Transparency? Not always. Compensation? Competitive. Politics? Everywhere. Welcome to corporate life.
I tell you why- if you notice most of the upper management are working here for dacades (10-15 years) this makes them highly incompetent with the current market! They just got promotion auto promotion and not work based. The slow and stagnant growth in career resulted these managemnt to be slow and dumb. The environmental shift is actually very necessary when it comes to career. thus, never stay with a company for more than 3 years. Moving out makes a person realise that the world isnt the same as they thought back then.
Anyways again not all of them are bad but the system is rotten!

Definitely, if I deny additional responsibilities and weekend work, they try to attack me through different means, for eg. Raising petty issues over mail along with the HR, micromanaging.
Agreed with some people, they are full with bossy politics nature. I have been asking for a discussion call but she ignored like a i am very junior and when i escalated the issue with HR, instead of giving reply, she started asking me other stuffs in which i was having issues. So political like a Goat before HR.
