Trending @Accenture; All ASE in my project have been promoted except me
In the September promotion cycle, all ASEs in my DU were promoted except me. I asked my PL about the reason, and he mentioned that he had recommended me for promotion but I was not prioritised this time. However, I have observed that all other ASEs reporting to my PL have been promoted.Is he lying? what should be my next step?
Well this is also true that not everyone can get promotion. Someone will be left out. Now I am hearing they have removed default promotions and promotion will be purely on performance based. Just have good equation with your manager. And from Manager I mean your project manager with whom you are closely working with, not the workday manager who may not even know you are under him. Show good performance to your project delivery manager, he can give recommendations and have you promoted.
I'm my case even my project manager is surprised that I am not getting promotion.he is saying you're on loan here and your promotion completely depends on workday manager.he recognized me several times over mail and workday.

After completing 2 years, you should be gettin level 11. Sad that you didn't. Nobody can comment whether your name was recommended for promotion or not other than your PL. Try to speak to him or even with his senior management and see if they can promote you in November cycle
