I have seen people getting project in different domain/tech even though they performed good in their assigned stream. So if u got AI stream, there's no guarantee that you will get project in that stream

AI stream doesn't have client projects. They're all working on POCs to be able to sell to clients. And the internal teams are competing among themselves to get a client. So work would be demanding.

First be proactive to learn and understand to be able to differentiate between what is AI and what is not. Today we are living in the world powered by LLM. You might be aligned to work on things where the llm is not. Needed. Differentiate between projects that have real impacts and which are the ones being used and made for the sake of fooling in the name of AI. Have a solid grasp of DS and ML

AI stream is promising with potential for exciting projects. However, bench time can vary. Stay proactive and keep learning to increase your chances of getting good assignments.
