Is there any specific time that you can stay at any level??
I directly joined in level 11 as fresher and now its has been 2.8 months in this level but no promotion to level 10.
Chances of promotion in June is very less i guess looking at team size and other factors
Next promotion is in November and by that time I will be 3+ experience;
Im trying to switch but 3 month NP and market is really bad ; I was thinking to resign in November if they don’t promote me without offer
whats your opinion guys
Don't resign without any offer rule no. 1 and second is keep applying daily apply for 3 to 5 jobs once market opens you will get the offer I had applied for 100 to 150 jobs and then I got one offer who waited for 90 days np and yes companies do wait once 90 days are on its up to you how you play it to. Get more offers.
Other advice will be to not wait till november keep applying proactively if you get promoted as well there won't be much appraisal imo worst case scenario is 10 percent and outside worst case scenario is 39 percent so better switch if you are on lower end of spectrum then you might get 100 percent increment also outside.
i wanted to stay 1 more year due to some reason but not getting promoted till 3yrs making me act fast ;
problem is they directly hired me for level 11 and for level 10 they themselves hire people with 4-5 yes exp and hence getting promoted to level 10 really needs lots of ownership and responsibility which i can’t handle
