What does the day to day task of a strategy consultant is?
Wake up with the call of your manager, telling you to prepare a deck which they asked you to do vaguely a few days back, and never followed back - since the deadline is today Talk to a bunch of folks and then prepare some slides Work your ass off till midnight to send it to them, and the leadership, only to be ghosted for a few more days. Sleep Then the cycle repeats
Ok then it might be the case with the company culture. But I wanted to know what is the work about ? Like I am a technology consultant, so what does a strategy consultant do? Making strategies on the basis of which hard skills?
The strategy consultant deals with broad, strategic decisions that define the company's direction, such as market entry, product diversification, and competitive strategy. The technology consultant focuses on specific technological solutions that support the company’s operations and strategic goals, such as upgrading IT systems, implementing new software, and enhancing digital services.
