Trending @Accenture; Accenture on-site internal switch

If I have a work visa in USA as a dependent to my spouse, can I move internally to Accenture in the US? Since the company no longer has to sponsor my visa?

Do I have to inform my team leads?

Not sure.. It is mentioned that we have to.... But try to apply first.. Then think about what your manager thinks...... If you got a role then it will be great for you 😃

I don’t want to disappoint you but here are few points:

  • I have a valid L1 visa from past 1 year still working from India infact working for some other region altogether
  • ACN leadership’s prime objective is to maintain your chargeability on First opportunity basis so they have no interest to help you
  • L2 holder can work with any organisation so don’t break your head for ACN
  • ACN US business has lot of folks on bench to forget about you being considered for myscheduling open roles

All the best and good luck with your US transition

Thank you so much, I felt the same that there’s no point checking with my team because it has to go through layers of permissions and no result at the end, I would rather try to apply elsewhere. All your points are things I thought through, so bang on!

Good you have realised this early. The point I was trying to convey, when they are not bothered about L1 holder then why for L2.
