Trending @Accenture; Accenture May 2025 Hike/Promotions
Accenture has very good business. It has record high business, the growth percentage is higher that the forecast, the bookings are higher, the revenue has beaten the estimates. Still, managers are saying the market is dry. What are your thoughts ?
Try to understand these outcomes are shown positive so that investors continue to invest more.... I hardly remember Accenture in any quarter results has reported a significant dip in growth, these results have nothing much to your promotions/hikes.
As mentioned in one of the grapevine post, only your manager and leadership can only know this. One speculation you can draw for sure that if your project is not doing good, irrespective of your performance you won't get much as it is directly related to projects profit.
And another thing for sure, if you are the one who received the hike on the December cycle then there is no chance you will be receiving the June cycle.
These hikes/promotions highly work on the bureaucracy basis and to increase the chances you need to increase your visibility in the project directly to leadership.....
Here the management answer is sales are obviously high but the profit margin are significantly low so we cannot give you good hike and promotions as accenture works on profit margin. They will find out one or the other way to not give us hike and promotion as they know that even after giving nothing we cannot switch as the market is still not good.
Ditto same from my manager today to lower expections within team for June cycle. I think everyone who are participants for talent discussions have been informed to let their teams know this.
Market is not good to pay you hike.. simple.. in my 8 years experience I never heard someone saying market is good I will give u hike or promotion 🤣🤣.. ye Rani Rona chalta h hamesha
