Trending @Accenture; Accenture Layoffs
Why is Accenture hiring so many people then laying some off that have only been there for 1 year?

They had expected a better outcome but now that cheap money is over and clients let their own people go you can’t sell consultants to the same clients anymore. Society needs to realize that running an economy on the basis of low/almost no interest money is not sustainable.

ACN turnover was ~20% per year even before this crisis, so I believe ot is strategic. They rely on cheap labor. It's not sustainable to give rises every year and promotions every 3-4 years to everybody, this causes inflation... New people bring new ideas, contacts, enthusiasm and they are willing to work harder for less as they need to prove themselves. Also bringing new people makes old workers compete with new for position, promotion or whatever, so everybody is pushing harder.

You are not entitled to anything. They should have told you that your job comes with ejection seat. That's consulting.
