Trending @Accenture; Accenture is doing this illegally right?

Let's say I have accumulated 16 hours of earned leave.

Since we need to work 8 hours a day, this should equate to 2 days of holiday, right? However, according to Accenture, they count one day as 9 hours. Is this ethical? Shouldn't they count 8 hours?

The working hours are 9 hours (8 hours of work + 1 hour break).

You are paid for all the 9 hours as the official working hours is 9. Hence when you take leave, 9 hours is calculated.
