If the hypocrisy term is redefined it surely can take Accenture working culture in India as an example. Cause in townhall or PR they describe how much profit they make but when it is time to give back to deserving people the market goes low, they suffer from dementia and all the utter nonsense...
This hiring is from PR budget, to keep share holder happy leadership creates the illusion of many projects and huge demand. HR in return hires lots of people, and later fire their own people saying the budget is not there.
Its non ending loop of corporate incompetency.
Understand their business model,
They earn more by giving their more resources to client for billing. Why would they hike for existing ones when the billing they sre getting from client for you is the same..
More resources= more billing
