Trending @Accenture; Accenture has not given hike from last 2 years, still I strongly recommend above all other Service industries.

Yes, if you want to stay in service industry only, this company is still ahead of it's peers. Also, I have seen people sitting like lala's in this company mostly cl8 and above without doing any work So, free ka paisa lo jabtak mauka h But if you want to progress in your career, leave asap

I recently joined Accenture at a lower level than I expected, and I'm concerned about whether I'll be able to get a promotion soon or if I should consider looking elsewhere.

This same case is present in my team too (not me), and she's waiting for like 3 years now at cl9 and not yet promoted, it could be proficiency, not enough slots then and maybe salary is high even if at lower level etc. and same thing too is for other juniors too I know, same getting cl9 salary (those who have joined from their career's beginning) at cl10 (lateral) and not getting pushed ahead. Basically and eventually, they make you match the ones who are here at lower salary than you non switchers, and only client budget, their performance and feedback can save you, but given most of the market is bad per the earning and all mails too, I'd suggest it's not worth staying here expecting a promotion soon (ofcourse you too would've gotten a great hike and salary of higher level just tag of lower, no way will they promote straight and have to have justify another great hike % for you until things aren't good, market and backlog of promotions have been cleared).

Thanks @LordOfEfficiency for you response....i will keep this in mind

Switch it some other service industry and work for 1 year come back to Accenture and get good package and join

I already resigned almost 3 months back. There is no point of staying in Accenture because there is no hope of hikes in upcoming time also.
