Trending @Accenture; Accenture B shift timing- (12:30-10:30) I was told this shift n timing. Isnt it more than 9 hours? Anyone here who work in this B shift?

I believe you are a fresher or newly joined Accenture. dont put yourself this man made timings, these are there for long time. Don't argue in such cases, rather you come out from this project. or else be available throughout the shift window in such a position that if any emergency or such cases you can join asap so your manager can believe you though you are away for a longer window. (if you are stepping out please inform prior and that is a separate scenario)
now you go, watch movies/take care of your parents/do household staff/take care of your children.
if you feel you will be busy for 4-6 then inform prior, take early log-off similarly do extend shift if required but maintain your work-life balance dont take too much stress enjoy your work and study, learn new things.
Based on my experience at the end of the day it's not about timings it's about BAU.

BAU means? Yes I am relatively new...n thanks for your detailed reply. I got your point..I am recently onboarded in the project though I am a lateral resource.

BAU stands for "Business as Usual". It refers to the regular activities that keep a business running smoothly. ---- copied from Google 😋

The Indian working/production hours per day is 8 hours. Rest all hours you can utilize as break.

I work in this shift and my Manager told me that you can logout after 9:30. He told me that 9:30PM is the official logout time

It's 10 hrs, u should have asked them at that time only..

I assumed by mistake they said but they are still stuck to it. I believe atleast on paper every shift should be 9 hours only. In my prev general shift projct, it always used to cross 9 plus hours though.

No working hours are 9 and break additional
