My friend have an offer from HCL . Base pay :22.50 lpa CTC : 27 lpa Joining bonus : 3 lakhs
Currently working in Accenture CTC : 19.65 lpa ( received full amount, except tax amount) Exp : 9.10 yrs Level : 9 ( promoted in 2022 December) Joined Accenture in 2020 June I get salary hike every year . 2021 : 26â„… 2022 : 31 â„… ( with promotion) 2023 : no salary hike to anybody in Accenture India. Only few promotions.
He is always considered and given good hike and will be in promotion consideration too.
Now tell me which is better? accepting HCL offer or to stay in Accenture.?
What I think, for short term HCL is good However, if I think about longer term Accenture is good option in his case.
Let me know if anyone wants to suggest.
Considering Service based industry hikes, feel Accenture is better

Prepare for product based companies, leaving one service for another service is not a good decision. Take your time for preparation.

Hcl is anyway good option from Accenture in terms of employees friendly and work also these days. I worked in both companies and i find hcl better , anyway its my personal experience.
Go to HCL 2021 -2022 most of people in accenture got similar hikes but it would not be same going forward
My Friend stayed at Accenture and got hike in 2024 : 11 â„… and 2025 : 13 â„… ( with promotion to L8).
