Trending @Accenture; About accepting service desk roles and termination mails
Recently hardlocked to SD project without any prior information. Soon after receiving that mail hr has contacted and asked whether I'm interested or not . I have trained in development side so I'm not looking into SD roles . After saying that he said if you are not accepting this we take the company policy into action and will send termination mail. Is this really true if we don't accept the project that we r really not interested will they terminate us. I joined in nov 2024 trained in Oracle.
This is not something new. Every other employee had faced this when they were fresher. As a non-experienced employee you don't have many options available either take the role or face termination. My suggestion is to take the role now, draw the salary, hone your skills and switch to a better job.
There is pressure from higher levels to reduce the headcount in the bench...so currently bench hr are trying to push ppl to project doing all this sort of things...try to speak with hr and see if she/he can understand and try to find projects related to oracle....or else you need to take SD no other option

I think apart from accepting the project you have no choice. Maybe try to approach and be in a relevant project ASAP. Then you can ask for a release from this project.
They are not even listing to us. They didn't even gave a day to think about it . The culture is becoming drastic nowadays. I think Project allocation is becoming tragic nowadays , they are literally trapping us(freshers)

They will terminate for sure, Don’t take risk if you are a fresher.

When you reject a project they ask for reason to reject I rejected around 10 12 projects of support roles before getting into a development role
