Trending @Accenture; 90 Days notice period getting me rejected in Jobs
Hi there it's based on true events I bluffed and kept my notice period as 15 days stating that currently serving notice period So that I could get the calls
But the interviewer already knew that if you are releasing on X Date from Accenture then you will have a Official Releasing Mail
Now the interviewer asked me for that confirmation letter, and I was bluffing. So he hanged the phone :)
Guys please tell what should I say to recruiters - if my notice period is 90 days. Atleast I want to get calls

For the last 6 months, i folllwed below approach and got few interviews. I tell them that my project is ending and im getting rolled off soon and I could join within 20 to 25 days. I will convince them that i will not be accept new projects so that accenture can release me early, since they dont want me to serve 90days without work. If they are still not convinced, i will say that i can even send them rolloffdate proof from ijp portal(u can change the date in browser and take ss). Most recruiters wont take the bait but only some will. For the last 6 months i got around 4 interview opportunities with this approach. However thats not enough. So, I dropped papers recently without offer.

Get off from the project, go on bench then give interviews. In bench you can get off board as you wish. That's the only way

I am on bench So shall I tell interviewer I am on bench and can reduce my notice period?

You can tell you will get relieved early as you just got off the project and looking for a new one. Don't sat bench. They'll ask for exit date which you can get easily by asking hr to change your exit date that shouldn't be an issue

You were trying the right gamble, but you missed to play one major move due to which you are worried now. Don't bluff with HRs that you're already on notice period because that would mean that you have a definite release date, which actually you would not have. So your bluff will be easy to blow up. I'll tell you a modification in your existing approach. It works like a charm.
Put your official notice period as one month on Naukri. Don't mention like you're serving notice period. Just update the notice period section to one month.
This would make your profile filter up in recruiter searches. When they call you for an opportunity, tell them that although Accenture's official notice period is 90 days; but that your current project is ending in 15 days and you'll be going on bench after that and will remain there until you find another project. Say that I will not be accepting new projects while my interviews are going on, and say that if an Accenture employee resigns while being on bench, the notice period will be very short like a week or 10 days and you've seen many others in the same situation, so you're pretty sure it'll be the same for you.
This can help you get more interview calls. Once that happens, either you crack the interview and get an offer, or at the very least, you get some solid interview experience which is still a win. And honestly, if a company really likes you during interviews and wants to hire you, they'll give you an offer letter with a 3-month joining timeline anyway. No one gives an offer based only on the 'hope' that you'll be released early. HRs work on official timelines only.
So yeah, saying that your project is ending soon is a bit of a gamble, but it's a good one. Worst case, you get some recruiter calls and gain interview

My teammates for offer with 90 days notice period some standard service based company accepts.if u want to go to product based company it may not be the case
But please don't resign before getting offer.what if u didn't get the offer for few months.u will be jobless.. pressure will be on u.
Just wait for the company which accepts 90 days notice period

Got offer "
